To be eligible for a telemedicine consultation a pet must have an established Veterinary-Client-Patient-Relationship with Dr. McNeil and Colman Veterinary Services. This means an animal must have had a physical exam performed by Dr. McNeil within the last year.
Examples of telemedicine consultations include:

  • Behavioral questions
  • Questions regarding medications
  • Nutrition consultations
  • Long-term patient monitoring updates
  • Quality of life discussions
  • Sneezing/reverse sneezing
  • Travel related questions
  • Parasite control
  • Weight management
Any medical emergencies such as seizures, respiratory distress, trauma, collapse. etc. should not be scheduled as virtual visits. they should be seen by Dr. McNeil as urgent or emergency visits.

Established clients will have access to after-hours emergency services.  Established clients will also have telemedicine triage free of charge for the first 15 minutes. Longer consults can be scheduled in advance by appointment for a fee of $45 by phone, text, facetime, or email.
